Congratulations to our Chamber Choir on their terrific showing at State Competition on Friday, April 27. “They sang their hearts out and I am SUPER proud of them,” said LCA choir director Sue Gaukel. She reports that the choir worked very hard to prepare, sang beautifully, and received many compliments on their performance.
Sophomore Jordan Bowles, in his first state competition as a soloist, delivered what the judges called a “very impressive” performance and received all top scores in his category. One of the monitors said he had never been blown away by a state competition performance like he was by Jordan’s. Way to go, Jordan!
Mrs. Gaukel and the choir say a big “Thank you!” to the parents, friends, LCA staff and others who have supported this year’s choir.
