Families Together....
Under One Roof!

Life Christian offers a Preschool through
12th grade education on one campus. We are one campus with one focus - to partner with our families to provide a Christ centered environment of academic excellence where together we can develop young students who know and serve Jesus. The advantages of having everyone together and on the same schedule are obvious to today's busy families.

  • Life is simplified when all children are on the same campus
  • Families interact with each other.
  • There is continuity in the student's education. Parents are confident that information presented continues to build upon previous years
  • Our campus provides daily opportunities for older and younger students to get together and help each other along. Our academy students are great role models for our lower school students.
  • Life Christian is a community…a family. Our teachers know and love each of these students and continue to be active in their lives way beyond the last day they are in their class.

International Student Program
In addition to the task force, we reach out to other countries and host 25 international students in grades 6 - 12 each year through our International Student Program. We provide an ISP teacher that supports these students and partners with their classroom teachers to help them be successful.
Diverse Christian Community
We are distinct in our commitment to create a culturally diverse Christian community.

L.I.F.E. (Learning is for Everyone)
In 1996 we started our L.I.F.E. Program (Learning Is For Everyone) to offer individualized learning programs to students with dyslexia (problems with language) dysgraphia (fine motor skill delay) and dyscalcula (problems with math). Our purpose is to teach "learning skills" to these students, teach them how to learn with their disability and then transition them back to the traditional classroom. After one or two years in the program 85% of LIFE students transition into traditional classrooms and students

had increased their scholastic performance an average of 2 or more grade levels - most were even on the honor roll!At the heart of this successful program is the technology available to aid these students to compensate for their learning disabilities and to aid them in their studies.
The real success of this program is restoring the student's confidence and sense of self worth. L.I.F.E. students are taught to see themselves as gifted individuals who have a unique and creative way of meeting life's challenges. As a result, students enjoy greater social and academic successes.

Caring Christian Community
Our teachers enjoy one of the great benefits of a private school - tremendous parental involvement evidenced by our 45,000 volunteer hours logged each year. Providing the quality educational experience we all want for these children is possible only by partnering together with parents. All families are asked to participate in school projects throughout the year. There is a volunteer opportunity that fits everyone's skills, strengths and schedules.

Technology…creating excitement!
To move from "recall" learning to "critical, high level thinking" is a process our administration and faculty has embraced. At Life Christian we believe the use of technology in the learning process should be in the hands of teachers and students and in the classrooms.

The continued integrity and success of our school rests on our commitment to evaluate our curriculum, to insure that our young people are prepared for the new global community.

Technology Highlights in Lower School

  • With the goal of making technology more accessible, the Elementary Technology Team has identified an ideally equipped classroom and written a planned purchase schedule that will equip each of the 20 elementary classrooms with 2 multimedia workstations, 5 laptops and 5 desktop word processors over the next two school years

  • The purchase of 30 AlphaSmarts further increases accessibility to technology for our young students.
