God's Plan For Our School

Life Christian is dedicated to the training of students in a program of study, activity, and living that is Christ-centered. We believe that "all things should be done decently and in order" and all students should be taught to accept God-given authority which is firm, consistent, fair, and tempered with a genuine love for the students. It is the desire of Life Christian that all students develop in Christian maturity where they do right because it is their personal conviction and habit to do the right thing in the moments of decision. The most positive behavior that can be developed is Godly self-discipline.
Life Christian has sought to keep a minimum of complex standards to maintain a Christ-centered environment. Basic fundamentals are necessary, however, for consistent operation and for a solid Christian testimony. Each student must realize that his actions affect not only himself but his peers and his family and his community. Christ's fundamental command in John 13:34-35 is "A new commandment I give to you that you love one another even as I have loved you. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Christ's fundamental command in John 13:34-35 is "A new commandment I give to you that you love one another even as I have loved you. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. Our Christian liberty does not allow us to infringe on the safety and rights of others. Christian love requires us to protect and seek God's best for others. Obedience is expected. Handbook standards, policies, teacher/staff instructions and Biblical principles are to be obeyed as a proper response to God's authority and to those He has placed in charge. Proper behavior is a fundamental requirement of all students on our entire Life Center campus. Life Christian seeks to assist the home in "training up a child in the way he should go." Discipline in love requires a spiritual solution when Christ is in control. Only as one yields to Christ can he be truly considerate, obedient and open to other's needs. Outward conformity to standards and policies can be forced, but our goal is one of Christian principles of living which are coming from within the student by God's Holy Spirit. God expects no less!
