Life Christian Academy
School Profile 2012-2013
Life Christian Academy was established in 1973 with six children and one preschool teacher as a ministry of Life Center Church. We have grown to serve pre-school through 12th grade students representing over 150 area churches. Our high school graduated its first class in1997. Our leadership has never wavered in its commitment to our mission of providing a Christ-centered environment of academic excellence.
Academic Program
Life Christian Academy provides a strong academic core in an atmosphere that promotes academic accountability. The curriculum of Life Christian Academy encompasses the comprehensive intellectual and spiritual development of its students. It presents the ideas and skills that constitute a high quality liberal arts education while maintaining a biblical standard.
Approval, Accreditation, and Membership
Life Christian Academy is a Washington State approved school and enjoys full accreditation from both the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS). We are active members of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools (WFIS), and WIAA. We are recognized by the National Association of Secondary Principals and maintain charters for National Honor Society as well as Junior National Honor Society.

Faculty and Administration
All of our academy teachers are degreed and state certified. Our Bible teachers are seminary trained. Specialists include a Registered Nurse, Counselor, College Counselor, PE, & Fine Arts. Our staff represents 25 different community churches.
Programs and Activities
LIFE – Support and remediation for students with documented learning challenges.
Music – Vocal (Grades K-12), Instrumental (Grades 5-12).
Sports – Football/Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Track, Cross-Country, Golf and Soccer
Other – Knowledge Bowl, Drama, Chess Team, Rotary Interact, Mock Trials, Cheer
Senior Project – 60 hours of service ministry devoted to one organization
Senior Missions Trip – One week of service in Mexico
Retreats – Spiritually focused camps by grade level for grades 7-12
