Since 1973, Life Christian Academy has provided a quality education within a Christian context. We began with six preschool children and one teacher. Today, we offer the finest private education to preschool through Grade 12 on a beautiful campus in the heart of Tacoma.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Click on the “FAST” button to the right.
Application process is self-guided. You may navigate in and out of the program, allowing you to partially complete the application and go back to it at another time.
Online e-mail and 24/7 helpline for all questions is provided by FAST.
After completing the online application, you must mail your tax returns w/all schedules and W-2’s.
Be sure and put the School’s name on the outside of the envelope and send this all to:

DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO APPLY?

$38.00 and is to be paid by MasterCard, Visa or American Express at the end of your application process.
If you do not have a credit card, please contact the school to arrange a cash payment and obtain a voucher.

WHEN DO I APPLY?

January 10th – March 15th. In order to be reflected and applied to your first month’s tuition, application must be submitted and completed as soon as possible. Decisions for Tuition assistance are made beginning in early April and continue until all funds are distributed. There are only so many dollars allotted for tuition assistance, so it is advisable to apply early, and do taxes early.

WHAT DOES FAST LOOK AT WHEN MAKING A RECOMMENDATION TO OUR COMMITTEE?

FAST looks at:
A. Family income
B. Family size
C. Any extraordinary circumstances (explained on the website)

Committee looks at:
A. Academic Achievement – minimum of 2.5 gpa
B. Exemplary Christian conduct
C. Participation in LCA and/or Life Center activities
D. Available to volunteer beyond the required PEP hours
E. Staying current on Financial obligations

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I QUALIFY AND WHAT MY AWARD WILL BE?

FAST notifies the committee of their recommendation by email, and then the school committee will meet to review school criteria for Tuition assistance, and a letter will be sent regarding the award.
