1.) ALLERGY ALERT:
We have several children this year with nut allergies. We
are asking that your child not bring nuts for a class snack
or if they have lunch, not to put them in their lunch. We
have several children with severe nuts allergies that will
have a reaction to the nuts without ingesting them. Although
we have epi-pens for these children, we are asking your help
in this area.
2.) SNACKS:
Snacks need to be store bought and sealed to be in compliance
with our licensor. We will make exceptions for your child's
birthday and for our special parties.
3.) ILLNESS:
If your child has a yucky green nose, sore throat, tummy
ache, fever, rash, headache, etc., please do not send them
to school. We want to protect the other children from getting
sick, and there is no better care for a child than to be
at home with a loved one.
4.) CLOTHING:
Please be sure and label your child's clothes, especially
outerwear, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc. The children tend
to misplace items, and it is much easier to get the item
back to the right child when their name is on it.
5.) TOYS:
Please try to discourage your child from bringing toys form
home, on a daily basis. It is O.K. when your child is having
Show-N-Tell, just ask your child's teacher which day is
his/her Show-N-Tell.
6.) PARKING:
Please do not pull-up by the preschool doors and leave your
car unattended while you walk your child downstairs. It
affects the traffic flow, and at times can cause Major traffic
problems. Also, NEVER leave your child unattended in your
car. It is against the law.
If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please
contact the preschool office at 253-756-2461 or come by
the office.
Thank you for your assistance in these areas.
