Donation
Form Good afternoon,
We think God is a God of surprises and blessings! In planning for this school calendar we moved our Annual Fund dinner event because of the Franklin Graham Crusade. We knew we wanted to be in support of this evangelistic event so we scheduled our event later in November. In previous years we had always done the banquet in early November and enjoyed large crowds of Life Christian supporters. This year’s attendance numbers at the banquet have been negatively impacted by the proximity of the event to Thanksgiving and people’s travel plans and busy schedules closer to the holiday. We know that people love to support our school through the annual fund and we are thankful for everyone’s participation.
This past weekend, we were pleasantly blessed to have our high school football team win their opening round game in the state playoffs, which now presents us with another game for our school community on Saturday night in Tacoma. Being a school of unity and trusting for God’s provision, we believe in doing all things well. To have two major events in the same weekend would be a significant challenge.
Therefore, this year we are going to do our Annual Fund drive by mail and follow-up calls/appointments in lieu of a hosted banquet. We are going to be good stewards by not incurring the expenses of a banquet. Gifts to the annual fund will make a significant impact on improving our school.
To those of you who planned to attend the banquet, we invite you to bring your enthusiasm to Mt. Tahoma High School to cheer on the Life Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. To those who hadn’t responded to the banquet invitation, we invite you to attend the game as well and bring additional enthusiasm! You will be proud to be a part of this effort and the team would appreciate your support. God has kept our players healthy through this entire season and this team is making a run for the State championship again this season. With a win over Naselle on Saturday, the semifinals and finals of the state playoffs will find the Eagles in the Tacoma Dome on Thanksgiving weekend for the semifinals. The finals are in the Tacoma Dome the following weekend. Please join us for the game on Saturday and watch these kids bring glory to God!
Please watch for your copy of the Annual Fund drive materials in the mail, know that your support is necessary for us to make improvements, and that we appreciate your support! We are trusting God and our wonderful parents, grandparents, and donors for their generous giving to provide quality education and to make improvements in our school for our students.
