Lcpl Ryan Tongue,
Class of 2001, US Marines.
|
Ryan's Marine unit was put on ground in Kuwait
in mid-February. His unit is infantry intensive and Ryan's
training was in tank warfare operations. When Ryan last spoke
with his Mother, he told her how much he felt the prayers
of people and how he was letting his faith shine amongst his
fellow Marines. When watching the news listen for information
about the 1st LAR/Alpha Co/3rd Platoon - and you will know
where Ryan is. Please feel free to write and encourage Ryan
and let him know you are praying for him. Here is his mailing

Corporal Ryan McPherson, United States Marines, LCA Graduate
Class of 2002 has safely returned from his tour of duty in
Iraq!!! YES!!! He has returned with all body parts that he
left with!!! He has informed me that "we brought everyone
home safely." They lost no one in his unit!!! Praise
God!
He wants to Thank everyone for their continual prayers,
especially those Prayer Warriors that wore the prayer bracelets
with his name. He is now stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA
for an indefinite period of time. He will be taking leave
here on the weekend of April 1st, 2005 for two weeks. He
is excited to see you all again.
----
Immediately after graduation, Ryan headed off to boot camp.
After graduating first in his class he was assigned to Satellite
Communications School in 29 Palms, California. In June he
will transfer to Camp Pendleton and continue schooling until
the end of the year. Atthat time Ryan will be given his permanent
assignment. Pray that God will watch over this talented young
man as he could very likely be sent to Iraq.
