PROGRAM HISTORY:
Seven of the past ten years the LCA Boy's Basketball Team has appeared at the State 1A tournament. We have been the Chinook League Champs three times (2000, 2001, and 2004) and the Tri-District Champs in 2000. We have placed in the State Tournament twice (7th in 1999 and 8th in 2000). LCA's overall record is 184-108. Since the program started back in 1994, two players have been selected to the TNT All-Area (top 10 players in the area-all classifications). Jordan Lee was voted the Chinook League MVP two straight years (1999 and 2000). We have had three players selected to the All-State Team (Josh Davis-1999, Jordan Lee-1999 & 2000, Michael Putnam-2001). In seven of the past ten seasons we have had at least one senior selected to play in the Senior All-State Game. Our current home record in the KAC is 73-17 and over the past three season 31-7.

COACHING STAFF:
This season is sure to be an exciting one. Head Coach Mark Lovelady is in his 12th year coaching the Life Christian Eagles and is closing in on 200 career wins. Coach Lovelady has guided the Eagles to the State Tournament seven of the past ten years. He has been married for twelve years to his wife Jennifer and has four kids Alexis-9, Luke-8, Landyn-5, and Ashton-8 months. The program brings back a great coaching staff led by assistant varsity coach Don Gustafson. Coach Gus has been with the program since 1996 and still holds the all time best junior varsity record at 14-1 in 1998. Assistant Varsity Coach/Head JV Coach Brad McKnight who played at San Diego State, Gonzaga University, and PLU is back again this year. Brad has two daughters (Alexis and Lizzy) and a one son (Drew). Jordan Lee is back at LCA, but this time as a coach. Jordan Lee left LCA in 2000 after being selected League MVP (2 years in a row), TNT All-Area team (2 years in a row), and 1A All-State. Jordan holds the LCA records in assists 424 and three point field goals made 146. Jordan is also second in career points at 1,248. Jordan was married this past summer to another LCA Alumni-Jennifer Scarlett.
