The Life Christian Eagle Boys' Varsity Baseball team defeated 3A North Mason last night 4-2. Junior Matt Banwart (aka Gilligan) pitched a complete game victory for his first Nisqually League victory of the year. Gilligan scattered 5 Bulldog hits, walked only one hitter and struck out 6. Junior Josh Westeren led the offense getting three hits in three at-bats with a double, scoring two runs and driving in a run.

The Eagles are 2-5 in Nisqually League play.

Next home game is Monday~May 2 at Heidelberg Park beginning at 6:15 pm. Thank you to all the faculty and students for their support.

The Life Christian Eagle Boys' Baseball team recorded their first Nisqually League victory last night by defeating the reigning 2A State Champion, Port Townsend. Seniors, Drew Johnson and Jesse Roberts, led the way on the mound with Jesse earning his first ever win as a pitcher. Leading the offense were junior Matt Banwart (Gilligan) who went 3-4, freshman Justin Peterson 2-4, senior Kyle Thomas 2-4 and junior Josh Westeren 1-3 with 2 runs batted in, the last being the game winner.

The Eagles next game is tomorrow, Friday, April 22 at Cascade Christian.
