Eagle Golf 2008

The Eagle Golf program, started in 2002, will look for continue success in 2008. A young boys team with only one senior will look to repeat as state champions. It will be difficult to replace such outstanding golfers as Andrew Putnam and Greg Bodine, but a young Nathan Putnam ( 6th in state as a freshman) will lead an upcoming group of eager golfers. Michael Trittin will be back for his Senior year to help anchor the boys team. A cery young girls team looks to win its first state championship with the likes of returning juniors, Bethany Gray and Alex Henning, both who qualified for districts in 2007. Bethany qualifiedfied for state and responded with and 8th place finish. A young group of freshman golfers headed by Kristen Rue will make LCA very competitive. The season, starting in the spring, will be one of excitement and great expectation.
