How Do I Earn a Varsity Letter?
It is the philosophy of the track and
field coaches at Life Christian that
Varsity Letters are to be earned, not
simply given out. A Varsity Letter signifies
that an athlete was a stand-out varsity
level athlete. Receiving a letter is
viewed as a large compliment, and not
earning a letter is in no way a slight.
There are several athletes who contribute
in several invaluable ways who do not
receive varsity letters, there are awards
at the end of the year banquet to honor
those athletes. Varsity Letters are
indicative of outstanding and consistent
performances in competition.
