Spiritual Emphasis for Upper School

Jesus Christ transforms lives! This is great news! Worldly wisdom may not deem this truth important, but this is the foundational truth in which we’ve built this great school called Life Christian Academy.

Fortunately, our Christian school is not dependent on worldly wisdom for building and growing our school and young people. We don’t have to follow the current trends or change our philosophy according to popular opinion. In fact, as Christians we teach our students that we are not dependent on a lot of things in which the world is dependent. We are not dependent on social reform, current interest rates, the latest medicines or therapeutic approaches. Obviously these can be good things, thats why we encourage our students to pursue great careers as Christian doctors, lawyers, pastors, teachers, etc. However, we also teach that in no way on these things are we dependent. We teach our students they are to be dependent on this one thing: Living and growing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This is the confidence and hope we have for every student at Life Christian. Whether it is academic excellence, career goals, athletic achievement or simply resolving day to day struggles, all can be accomplished through hard work that is grounded in a relationship with God.

This is a tremendous advantage that we over those who have no faith. We partner with the church and the family in the education of young people. Our students participate in Friday chapels, weekly mentoring programs, Bible class, optional Wednesday night youth group and mission trips. Teachers and coaches regularly pray for their students. Parent programs support us in intercessory prayer and the discipleship of our youth. God has created an amazing environment for students to receive and apply their education.

Please partner with us in praying for God to continue to do a transforming work in the life of every person at Life Christian Academy. We truly believe God is doing this very thing and look forward to celebrating each child’s great accomplishments in Christ during each school year.

Sincerely in Christ,

Pastor Bobb Absten
