What
is PTF?
What is Parent Teacher Fellowship?
Parent Teacher Fellowship is an organization within the school that
works to encourage parent involvement in the education of our children.
What is the Membership Drive?
We encourage every school family to join PTF. Annual membership
dues are $5.00 per family. A contest runs through November 1st to
see which classroom can get the highest percentage of families participate.
The winning class receives an ice cream party courtesy of PTF. Membership
envelopes are available in the school office or you may pcik one
up at the PTF Coffee.
What was the money used for during the 2000/2001 school year?
PTF purchased $12,000 worth of Alpha Smarts (5 per elementary classroom),
$1,000 worth of library books, musical equipment for the Music Department,
sponsored a Tim Noah concert, updated the die-cut machine for teachers,
and we also sponsored enrichment programs including the Walk-a-Thon,
Trike-a-Thon, Faculty Appreciation Week, the Christmas Store, and
our monthly PTF Coffees.
How can I earn PEP hours?
Anytime you volunteer or attend a PTF Coffee you can earn PEP hours.
(Pre-School families are not required to earn PEP hours). Keep a
record of your volunteer hours and at the end of each quarter you
turn them into the school office. Each family needs to volunteer
four hours a quarter and single families need to volunteer two hours
per quarter
